Annie: I’m super excited to tackle this internship. I have so many ideas I want to bring to the table, and everyone’s been so welcoming. Well, I’ve only met Leslie and Chris so far, but Chris told me I’m literally the most organized person he’s ever met, so that’s a good sign, yeah?

Ron: While April’s helping Leslie with her campaign I’m getting a new April to fill in. Leslie chose her because she’s intelligent and committed - and because she sealed her application envelope with a smiley face sticker… I’m already uneasy.

Ron: I just wanted to ask one thing. You answered a phone call and set up a meeting with Sue’s Salads about possibly putting her food on the menu in the council cafeteria?
Annie: Um, yes… Did I do something wrong?
Ron: There are two things wrong, New April. One, you answered a phone call. And two, salad is what people eat when they’ve lost the will to live. Do you not understand the concept of an enjoyable meal? Bacon, for instance, is an acceptable meal for all occasions. 
Annie: Oh, I don’t eat bacon.
